Requirements for California Birth, Death or Marriage Certificates:
Certificates must include an expedited date of no longer than 10 years and has been given to you by the County Clerk’s office and not by the Hospital. A new certificate can be obtained at the County Clerk Recorder’s office in the county you were born in
